Joseph is recorded on a document, entitled, Queensbury Roll of Honour under ‘men who have given their lives for their country’. It is believed that this list was printed around August 1917, whilst the war was ongoing.
Searches of military records have not identified Joseph and all that is known of him is that he lived at Albert Edward Street. It is to note that four men shown on the document share the address of Albert Edward Street. Of these only one has been fully identified.
