William H Moxon is named on the Queensbury roll as living at 6 New Park Road.

A William Henry Moxon served in the 21st Battalion of the Prince of Wales’s Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment, they were a Pioneer Battalion.  He held the rank of Sergeant.  William was born in Parkgate, Rotherham and in 1911 was living at 5 Windsor Place, Hebden Bridge with his wife Hannah and 3-year-old daughter Marjorie, he was a Police Constable.

William was killed on 29th August 1918, he is buried at FEUCHY CHAPEL BRITISH CEMETERY, WANCOURT (I. G. 8).
